Brigetio Spa - Komárom
Recent excavations on site show that there was a flourishing bathing culture in Komárom as early as Roman times. Whether the inhabitants of Brigetio knew about the healing treasures hidden in the earth is not known, but it is known that the Romans used the thermal water to relieve arthritis and rheumatism. The baths were an important place of social life and recreation. So it is today: come to us to heal, relax and recharge your batteries! One of the main attractions of Komárom, the city of fortresses, is its high-quality thermal water. The Brigetio Spa is located in the heart of the city. The 62 degree Celsius water, which was declared a medicinal water in 1967, has been serving our guests for almost 50 years.
The pools in our spa area contain calcium magnesium hydrocarbonate, chloride and sulphate certified medicinal water. Two outdoor thermal pools, an indoor thermal pool, a whirlpool, an indoor pool, a teaching pool and in summer an outdoor pool, a water slide and children's pools with play elements and a snake slide. A lift is available for disabled guests.
Thermal Spa – Komárno
The Thermal Spa in Komárno is built on an area of 2.5 ha. It has two active thermal springs with a water temperature of 45 ° C and 30 ° C. These mineral waters have beneficial effects on joint, rheumatic and female diseases. The outdoor spa includes a swimming and training pool, a classic pool, a children’s paddling pool and a seating thermal pool. In the spa area, guests can comfortably swim and play sports (beach volleyball, table tennis, climbing area). In the thermal bath you can use the sitting-relaxing thermal pool with a mobile roof all year round.There is also a Finnish sauna with a swimming pool and other facilities such as massages, manicures and pedicures, dentists and buffets.
Thermal Baths – Pat / Patince
The termal water in Patince was already used by the Romans for healing, but there is a record of it from the middle ages too. In the 18th century Mathias Bel in his large geographical work, Notitia Hungariae ... describes the healing power of the water, and constantly they used it later on, mostly for treatment of pain in extremity. After the II. World War, the first drilling was in 1953 resulting the wonderfully beautiful source near the wellness hotel and the spa. In the same year the thermal springs and its immediate surroundings were declared as a nature reservation. In Summer the thermal bath’s pools filled exclusively with thermal spring water (sports pool, children’s pool, children’s recreational pool, thermal sitting pool, swimming pool, slide world).
