Visiting a medieval inn – Tata-Agostyán

Within the framework of the so-called historical ecological programme, in the Eco-village of Agostyán you can take a walk “dressed casually medieval-style” – that is, in a medieval village still under construction. In the village there stands a 15th-century medieval inn, where you can eat, amuse yourself, listen to historical epic songs, and even dance to Renaissance tunes.

Thematic trips in Slovakia

There are several ways to get to know Slovakia. If you want to combine your vacation with movement, you can choose from hundreds of tourist routes. Connoisseurs will surely go on one of the eight wine routes, as this is the best way to get to know first-class Slovak wines and local specialties.

Culture lovers daydream about the so-called A Gothic road that leads through Szepesség and Gömör and takes the visitor to more than sixty monuments. During your trip, you can visit, among others, the uniquely beautiful downtowns of Bardejov or Levoča, Szepes Castle, the Church of the Holy Spirit in Žehra or Szepeskáptalan (Spišská Kapitula), which is also called the Slovak Vatican due to its importance in church life. Several monuments are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
