The Turul Parkerdő monument towering over Tatabánya, as well as the monument's popularity and utilization, are among the largest parkerdő in our country. Thanks to recent developments, even more tourists are coming here. From the lookout point, you can see a wonderful view of both nearby and more distant settlements. During one of the tours, it is worth visiting one of the most famous caves in our country, the Szelim Cave, which has served as the venue for several cultural events in recent years.

Majk is located in Komárom-Esztergom county between Oroszlány and Tatabánya, 16 km from Tatabánya.
The Majki park forest is located in three separate areas: in the area around the Kamalduli Hermitage, on Madár-hegy and in the forest next to Csákvár út. The best-developed area interwoven with public welfare facilities can be seen around Lake Majki, which is why this area boasts the largest number of tourists. Vértesi Erdő Zrt. renovated the Celli Szűz Mária Chapel, which also adds to the magic of the place.
Due to the lucky location of the park forest, the large passing traffic also contributes to making this area a popular hiking spot. A new reception building, restaurant and boarding house, as well as a wooden playground, are currently being built next to the lake, which will be handed over soon.
The Majki park forest is located in three separate areas: the part next to the abbey, Madár-hegy and the park forest created next to Csákvári út.

During the tour, you can take shelter in rain shelters next to the panorama, get information from information boards, and rest at fire pits. Driving along the special road section, you can feel the microclimate change from the valley up to the ridge. The Móri moat, which opens up from the dry grasslands and wooded hillsides, creates the illusion of a greater difference in level and is a delight.

The gem of the Gerecse Landscape Protection District is the Agostyán arboretum, next to Tata. It has everything that arboretums are known for: lots of special trees, plant rarities, streams and lakes, rest areas, trees blooming in spring, a cool forest with bird songs in summer, a snowy landscape in winter and stunning colors in autumn. No matter what time of year we arrive, we will always have a unique experience. In addition, I caught a day when it was not only autumn in the arboretum, but also winter. How can this be? Later it turned out, as well, that the fairy-tale game Enchanted Forest is coming here. Come with me to the Agostyán arboretum bursting with autumn colors, I'll show you a little taste of it.
