The purpose of the creation of the new city museum is, on the one hand, an interactive presentation of the finds excavated in the area of the former Roman settlement, Brigetio, and also a 21st century museum. design of a building and exhibition space that meets the requirements of the 20th century. It also aims to enable the György Klapka Museum in Komárom, which currently houses the artefacts, to move to a modern building. The Visitor's Center will also host ELTE's practical training in archaeology, so Komárom will be entitled to use the title "University City".

In August 2018, the Gerecse Gate visitor center was opened on Kő-hill in Tatabánya, near the Turul bird statue. The tourist infrastructure building, which functions as an exhibition space, restaurant, via ferrata rental and specialist shop, awaits visitors at the popular hiking spot.
In the area between the center and the statue, a playground, an outdoor fitness park, rest benches and tables await hikers. Three educational trails have been created in the area, the 7-station Turul educational trail running between the visitor center and the statue presents the history of the national millennium monuments, the old geological educational trail along the road leading to Szelim-lyuk has been renovated and tells about the lithology of the region, while the Ranzinger The Vince nature trail provides information about the flora and fauna of Gerecse along the road leading to the lookout tower on Csúcs-hill, built from a former mining tower.

In December 2019, one of the most significant ecotourism facilities in the region, the Gerecse Nature Park Visitor Center, was handed over to the beautiful pilgrimage site of Péliföldszentkereszt. The interactive presentation center directs attention to our heritage of local and regional importance and its protection, to the entire Nature Park. In the 370 square meter facility, the beauties and values of Gerecse are presented, an exhibition space, a performance space, an interactive activity center and a gift shop have also been created. The National Blue Tour as well as the Nyerges 20/40 and Kinizsi 100 performance tours also pass through here.

The Dunamente Ecotourism Visitor Center in Pula opened its doors to visitors in the fall of 2020. The purpose of unique exhibitions is to present our natural values in an interesting environment and draw attention to the negative effects of global climate change. Man's ecological footprint is getting bigger and bigger, and this can only be countered by a conscious lifestyle change and due care. Thanks to the interactive exhibitions and programs in the visitor center, school groups, families, and older people alike can have a good time. Visitors can explore the permanent exhibition in a colorful, modern environment through four themed rooms. In the Ecology, Danube, Forest Cave room, interactive elements are shown to help with all of this.
